Description

UltraLAN Micro UPS (DC-to-DC 17W) with USB & PoE Output

Min Order Qty: 5

Ultralan 60W DC to DC Lithium UPS

The Micro UPS series delivers clean, automatic, reliable, constant power to small DC devices like your Wi-Fi Router during power outages or when grid power is unavailable. The DC-to-DC Micro UPS models have various power output options such as USB, DC, and POE output ( on certain models).

This Micro UPS is ideal for backing up IP Cameras, Routers, and other 12V devices.

Unlike a traditional power bank that solely provides backup power when needed, the Micro UPS remains in-line between your device and the power source and modulates the incoming power feed to prevent damage to your sensitive electronic equipment.

Switchover to the Micro UPS in the instance of a power outage is automatic and instantaneous.

The UltraLAN Micro UPS devices do not suffer from major efficiency loss unlike traditional UPS’s, which converts power from 12V batteries to 220V AC output. Instead, the UltraLAN Micro UPS series provides DC-to-DC power output with much higher efficiency, resulting in longer run times

Features

  • High-capacity lithium batteries provide a long backup time.
  • USB output (5V) can charge products such as cell phones, tablets, portable music players, and more.
  • Power Over Ethernet (PoE) can transmit data and power at the same time, simplifying cable management, ideal to provide backup power to a router or wireless access point that supports passive Po (15V or 24V).
  • Intelligent circuit design with over-charging, over-discharging, and short circuit protection.
  • Built-in power adapter allows a wide AC input voltage range (100~240V AC).

Package Includes

  • MUPS17W8.8AH

Setup Instructions for the Mini DC UPS

1. Press and hold the Power key for 2-3 seconds to boot up the UPS. If the Output Voltage LED is green, the DC output socket is working normally and transmitting power. The voltage can be selected by toggling the 9V/12V DC voltage switch. The output voltage of the PoE socket can similarly be selected between 15V and 24V by toggling the PoE voltage switch.

2. Before connecting any load to the UPS, please check the nominal working voltage, current, and polarity of devices you wish to connect to the UPS (which can be found on your devices’ original power adapters).

3. The output power of this model is controlled by its total power capacity. The maximum load connected to the UPS should not exceed the total capacity that the UPS is able to supply. If the maximum capacity is reached, the USB port(s) will be switched off first in an effort to reduce the load, which will also be shown by the Status
LED flashing yellow. In this case, please reduce the number of connected devices to reduce the wattage load.

4. If the total load still exceeds the UPS’ capacity, all power output sockets will also be switched off to prevent harm to the UPS & batteries. This will be indicated by all of the power LED’s flashing. In this scenario, please disconnect devices to reduce the power draw on the UPS.

5. While connected to an AC power outlet, the Status LED will become green, indicating that the UPS is charging. During the charging process, the power LED indicators will gradually increase from 25%, to 50%, 75%, and 100% once fully charged.

6. If the UPS loses power from the AC wall socket, the Status LED will become red to indicate that the device is running on its battery backup. If the 25% power LED is flashing, it means that the battery is very low, and the power key should be pressed for 2-3 seconds to shut the UPS down.

7. The UPS will however automatically shut down (low battery cut-off) if AC power isn’t available and the batteries are nearly depleted in order to prevent over-discharging of the lithium batteries. Once AC power is available again, the UPS will restart and output power will be restored.

8. If the UPS is unused for a prolonged period of time, make sure to charge the device at least once a month to extend the batteries’ service life.

Warning

1. Check the voltage, current, and polarity requirements of your equipment before connecting them to the UPS.

2. Please charge the UPS fully before initial use.

3. UPS contains lithium batteries.

4. Do not disassemble this product or open the casing.

5. Do not expose the UPS to water.

6. Do not expose the UPS to fire or excessive heat.

7. Dispose of UPS in accordance with local environmental regulations.

8. Do not place the UPS in a location where temperatures may exceed 60°C (140°F)
