Description
UltraLAN Micro UPS (DC-to-DC 60W 17.6Ah, 65Wh) with PoE Output
Min Order Qty: 2
This unit is configured with 8 x 2200mA Li-ion Batteries offering a total capacity of 211Wh. The unit offers multiple voltages as well as Amp ratings as illustrated below – although it does not natively support 5v. Not really an issue as I use a Buck Converter for 5 & 6v devices like USB-powered devices such as my Xiaomi cameras or Raspberry Pis.
UltraLan Features
- High-capacity lithium batteries provide a long backup time.
- Power Over Ethernet (PoE) can transmit data and power at the same time, simplifying cable management. Ideal to provide backup power to a router or wireless access point that supports passive Po (24V).
- Intelligent circuit design with over-charging, over-discharging, and short circuit protection.
- The built-in power adapter allows a wide AC input voltage range.
Package Contents
- 1x 60W Micro UPS
- 1x IEC to Schuko Power Cord
- 1x 1meter DC-DC power cable
Setup Instructions
When the UPS is switched on, both the DC output (12V) and PoE output (24V) are enabled.
After the UPS has been switched off, the power output will be disabled on both DC and PoE outputs. If the UPS is connected to an AC wall socket, the batteries will keep on charging regardless of whether the UPS is switched on or off.
Before connecting any load to the UPS, please check the nominal working voltage, current, and polarity of devices you wish to connect to the UPS (which can be found on your devices’ original power adapters).
When several devices are connected to the DC output sockets, it’s important that the total power draw does not exceed the total capacity that the UPS can supply (60W Maximum total)
Also, ensure that a single device powered by the UPS does not exceed the maximum power a single DC output can provide (12V 1.5A Maximum).
The UPS is equipped with a multi-function LCD display screen which indicates the AC input voltage, load ratio, battery voltage, working mode, and the state of charge.
UPS shuts down automatically when it is low battery. It will restart automatically when AC recovers. It is very convenient for unattended devices.
The UPS will automatically shut down (low battery cut-off) if AC power isn’t available and the batteries are nearly depleted in order to prevent over-discharging of the lithium batteries.
Once AC power is available again, the UPS will restart and output power will be restored.
If the UPS is unused for a prolonged period of time, make sure to charge the device at least once a month to extend the batteries’ service life.
