The S-100A is the latest addition to Hubble’s S series and is a high-performance lead-acid drop-in replacement succeeding the popular S-120 Series

NB -Inverter CUT OFF voltage must be set to 11.2V, else the BMS will cut off and the battery will go dead (and will need to be jumped).

You can only use this battery in Mecer 1200VA/2400VA type inverters if you are sure you won’t drain the battery all the way down.

We however recommend using this battery ONLY with an inverter that is able to set cut off to 11V or more.

Recommended Inverter: 12V 1kW Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Shipping is an extra cost of R150 per battery due to size and weight.

    Victron Battery Balancer – 24V / 48V – Series or Parallel Connected Batteries

    The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two series connected 12V batteries, or of several parallel strings of series connected batteries. When the charge voltage of a 24V battery system increases to more than 27V, the Battery Balancer will turn on and compare the voltage over the two series connected batteries. The Battery Balancer will draw a current of up to 1A from the battery (or parallel-connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current differential will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge.

    If needed, several balancers can be paralleled.
    A 48V battery bank can be balanced with three Battery Balancers.
